1/9/2007 Game updates-East

2 Wild games on Monday and Tuesday! At East - Our fiercest rival- we won a fantastic JV game. They were up 10, down 10, up 10 down and tied. Won by 2 and everybody that played contributed. Very physical game with lots of fouls. We took their best shots, both physically and emotionally, and beat them.
Varsity was more of the same. We got done by 8 early and went into half time down by 4. Played terrible defense the first half. sophomores played a huge part in a second half run that saw us take a lead in the 4th quarter and win relatively easily. Very hostile environment with a huge crowd (1500+) and a very vocal student section. It really is a great place to play and is easily the envy of the state. I love playing there and winning.

1-7-08 Changes

It is just about impossible for me to keep this blog up to date. I didn't think it would be taking so much time to write so little. I'm thinking about using this blog or using a web page to post pertinent information such as game, snow day and practice schedules, travel times, and important dietary information such as pre- and post game meals. This seems to be a better use of our time and much more useful. May be able to continue to post game and team info as well just a condensed format.

1/7/08 Changes

Sorry for the delay, but things are looking up. Beat S. Charleston before Christmas to go 2-2. Lost to co #1s (Parkersburg South and Morgantown) in the Parkersburg South Christmas Tournament. Fell to 2-4. Beat Capitol last Friday now 3-4. Practices over Christmas are always less than perfect because of sicknesses and family visits. Now that we are back in school, we should start improving in every way. Greenbrier East-biggest rival- tonight at East. Should be a good game!
